Yes. Each sign comes with hardware necessary for hanging the sign from our scrolled bracket.

5. Why can’t we use up all the space on the sign? Why are we limited in characters??

Due to the arrangement of the artwork, size of the space available, and limitations of our manufacturing process we limit all signs to a particular font size and limit character length of each line of the sign.

The short answer to this is that we can only fit so much on one line and have it fit within the parameters of the artwork used for the sign.

Character limitations:

1.5 inch font: 30 Characters per line, please note that capital letters take 1.5 characters.

2 inch font: (First line of ECWY sign only) limited to 15 characters per line.

Permissions, Placement and Assembly

Before purchasing, secure consent of the existing property owner where the sign is to be placed and become familiar with municipal, county and/or state government regulations and permitting requirements, if any, that may be applicable.   In most cases where regulations apply, limitations on placement and overall height will be clearly spelled out.

Assembling and placing the sign will require a local handyman or contractor.  Try finding such person in the congregation.  The sign attaches to a scroll bracket (with clips provided with the sign), and in turn mounts to a steel pipe the length of which is determined by how high the sign is to be from street level. The materials needed to be purchase locally include a 2”steel pipe or preferably square tube, a finial, and a couple of mounting bolts for the scroll bracket.  The following schematic should provide a good idea of how to actually accomplish the task.
